The main goals of the STOP MALARIA NOW! campaign are to raise public and political awareness about malaria-related issues in Europe and mobilize public support for increased political, strategic and financial commitments of European governments in order to eradicate one of the major poverty-related diseases in the long run.
Our work is based on a strong partnership between European and African NGOs working in the field of health and development cooperation.
Every member of STOP MALARIA NOW! has profound expertise in one or more particular areas, some having their focus on research and development of new malaria drugs others on advocacy work or development education. Most members are implementing health or malaria control projects in developing countries.
This serves as an excellent source of getting information from the grassroots level to relevant decision-makers.
