Based on a strong partnership and best-practice exchange Stop Malaria Now! targets civil society and decision-makers as well as the media at European level in order to increase awareness about malaria and mobilize active public support for stronger political commitment and action against the disease.
Stop Malaria Now! focuses on bottlenecks of malaria control and is calling for a quantitative and qualitative scale up of international funding, programming and researching for malaria.
We regard our work as a contribution to global attempts of poverty reduction and achievement of the Millennium Development Goals.
We promote cooperation and information exchange between NGOs and other institutions in order to make optimal use of synergies and join our forces to combat malaria.
We provide information on malaria, organise awareness-raising events in Germany, Italy, Poland and Spain and foster media relations in order to increase public awareness and malaria actions.
We facilitate structured information and training possibilities as regards the access to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) for small NGOs in malaria pandemic countries.
We are an integrated part of international advocacy projects about the most important world diseases.
